Day One; Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived around 1 pm and where onboard by 1:30. Our cabin was ready at this time so we where able to drop our carry on bags off and head for the Lido deck. I must say I was a bit surprised how many servers where pushing drinks before 2 pm. Also I must note that they have a friends of Bill W meeting for alcoholics in the morning, sort of ironic.

We had stopped at Chick Fila before the cruise but did manage to try a hamburger and fries once we where situated on deck with our ice teas. Drinks did come later, after 5. Going right under the Sky Way Bridge was really cool! We took lots of pics and my daughters thought they where cool also.

Room was really clean and room steward was great. Our room was decorated for a birthday. It was neither of ours but we took pics and decided not to say anything. I will think about it though in June when it is my real birthday and bask in the memory. Read more
