I traveled with my husband and another couple on this cruise. We were all first time cruisers are all in our mid-twenties. We arrived in Miami the day before the cruise and stayed in the Coral Gables area. We had booked an inexpensive hotel room and it was an easy trip to get to the port. We arrived at the port at about 1:00 and had no problems boarding. We had almost no waiting in line. When we arrived we went to our room. We had an inside cabin on deck 4. It was definitely small, but nice. The bed was comfortable, and we liked not having a window so we could sleep in later in the mornings. My husband and I had 4 suitcases but we made room for everything. Our cabin steward was great. He was always straightening up after us.

After checking out our room we went and ate at the Windjammer. The area around the first station was crowded but we went to the back of the room and found plenty of open tables. The food was really good, with a nice selection. After lunch, we went to the pool. There were always plenty of lounge chairs available. The drinks were great. Our favorite was the Miami Vice. The band was playing, which was fun.

Every night we ate dinner in the dining room. We had the 8:30 seating which worked out well. We could get ready and then meet up with our friends for a drink before dinner. The service in the dining room was great. We really got to know our waiter and assistant waiter by the end of the trip. We thought the food was great too. My personal favorite was the dessert. Our waiter would bring us out additional dishes to try, which was nice. We went to Johnny Rockets once for lunch. The servers were hilarious with their singing and dancing. I would recommend it.
