First -would we book RCCL again? I thought I should state this right up front as some readers confuse nit picky comments with our overall cruise experience. By all means would be cruise RCCL again. It was our 7th cruise, 5th with RCCL and it was a great cruise. Now for the nit picky stuff. This is a guy's point of view.

Food Pretty good overall. My wife is a vegetarian and was able to do very well with their vegetarian selections. I love meat and would say the bar was lowered somewhat. Soups were awesome as well as the salads. The pizza was great as well as the wraps etc. We had early sitting and were there every night. The first night was odd, service slow and then they had an early show for everyone so we had to leave dinner early to catch the show. This had us a bit worried but things calmed down after that and it was not a problem ever again. Ersin was our waiter and he tried hard, no complaints. RCCL has improved in their desserts as I had more on this cruise than ever before.

Cabin We took a chance and booked an Aft (facing backwards at the back of the ship cabin). It was awesome and there was little motion or engine noise. My wife is prone to being a bit sea sick and she had no problems except when the captain decided to chase whales. At 25 knots we did hear a slight roar of the engines, but there was only one night at that speed and I slept well. What did bother us however is the cleaning station that they located across the hallway from our room. The clatter of dishes could be heard in the morning and that bothered me. I mentioned this my room steward and it was not a problem after. Now I must admit that we did not get up too early the first 2 mornings either. I did realize we would be located directly above the colony club and we did hear music on occasion but my sleeping pattern remained unaltered. The view from the aft cabin is incredible and we could see the moon from out bed (take note guys...big points and other benefits).
