Infinity, Hawaii - roundtrip from San Diego April 22 - May 6, 2007

Background We are a married couple, in our 50's and retired (celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the cruise). We have cruised 8 times, mostly on HAL and this is our first cruise over 10 nights. We are cabin folks, and the days at sea are more important to us than a port intensive itinerary.

Embarkation What a disappointment! The cruise before ours was late in arriving back in port therefore pushing our embarkation until evening (I believe it was 8pm when we finally stepped foot onboard). Celebrity did what they could by fairing passengers to the San Diego Convention Center to check in and wait. I felt the process was disorganized and chaotic and there was not enough seating for all those needing to sit. We waited in lines to do virtually everything. Read more
