This is our third cruise on the Constellation. It is also our second transatlantic on her as well. We were not disappointed. Her service continues to be excellent. My wife and I brought along our 28 year old daughter who had never cruised before.

Ft. Lauderdale: We rented a car in Ft. Lauderdale as we use to live here many years ago. It was great to see our old homes and eat at our favorite restaurants. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Plantation. It has been there a long time but it is in great shape. We rented a car from National and when we returned it, they got a driver to bring us in the same car to the port. It was a good thing because of the 6 bags of luggage as well as the carry-ons.

Embarkation: We arrived at the pier at 11:00am. We dropped off our luggage and went inside. They were still unloading the ship so we waited. After about 30 minutes we were allowed to sign in and get our sea passes. That process only took minutes and once through security, we were on the ship.
