This is my second cruise, my first one on Radiance of the Seas. We flew to Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise to avoid the hassle of delayed flights.

EMBARKATION: We arrived at the port at 11:30 since our checkout from our hotel was at 11:00. We expected to have to wait, but we walked right onto the ship. We were sitting down at the Windjammer, eating lunch, at 12:00 noon. It couldn't have been any smoother. We were allowed into our room at 1:00 and our luggage arrived around 3:30.

STATEROOM: We were in an inside stateroom on the ninth deck. The room was much larger than I expected. There was plenty of drawer and shelf space. We were able to unpack our suitcases and put them under our beds for the rest of the cruise. The mattresses on the lower berths were quite comfortable. We had two upper berths as well. The girls complained that the mattresses were too hard. The bathroom was exactly what I expected - small! But all, in all, it met our needs.
