Embarkation: easy on,easy off for this cruise. We arrived at 11:35 and were on board in 5 minutes; we disembarked in 15 minutes. Royal Caribbean has a system where you can take your own luggage off.

We had 7 previous cruises on ships from 800 to 2200 passengers so we were leery of this big ship. We needn't have been. The ship is managed in such a way that the number of passengers does not impact on the events or life of the ship. One exception was Puerto Rico when over a thousand passengers returned to the ship at the same time. The Voyageur was unprepared to quickly process returning passengers. When the displeasure of so many passengers was expressed (hear grunts and groans) a third gangway was opened up. In St. Thomas they have a nightmare as everyone on the ship has to present themselves to immigration officials. This fiasco needs to be better organized. Having read Cruise Critic, I was prepared for the shenanigans and waste of time. It didn't make the waiting a pleasant experience. Royal Caribbean needs to sharpen up their response in these two instances. The rest of the cruise was flawless.

My husband and I skated on the rink, saw all the shows, breakfasted in our room on the balcony and had a table for two in the dining room. Couldn't have improved our cruise. Got excellent value for money.
