When we first researched the Pride of America (POA) Hawaii cruise, we were disappointed and a little leary of the negative reviews we had read previously about this ship and her crew. We just returned from that cruise and all I can say is, WOW! We were very impressed (and we are picky about our cruises)!! Either the people who reviewed it didn't know what they were talking about, or POA listened to the comments and made things right- either way- it was one of the most enjoyable cruises...possibly the BEST...that we have ever cruised on (we've been all around the world with Carnival, Royal Carribean and Princess cruise lines- this was our first Norwegian cruise)!

PROS:

- Beautiful, patriotic decor- stately, not tacky like many of the cruiseships.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Small, small and small!! My husband could not fit his size 13 shoe end to end in the space that was at the end of the bed. Balcony is obstructed on either side; however, this also makes it private. Cabin steward, Edwin Pacada was EXCELLENT!!!!! It is right around the corner from elevators, so that makes it nice. Never heard any noise from rooms nextdoor or from the party deck.
