Just spent a week on the Celebrity Silhoutte. We had a great time. The ship is sleek and very clean

The staff were all friendly and hard working. They wanted to make sure you had a great vacation. The captain and main officers were visible and very friendly. The food in the Murano was amazing as well as the service was impeccable. We also enjoyed a tapas meal in Quizine and found the different tapas delicious, interesting and well presented. The food in the main dining room was good but not as extravagant as past Celebrity cruises which were over ten years ago. All the cruise lines tend to push better service and better food in speciality restaurants but the dining room is fine. The entertainment was better than Princess cruises. The ship bands were spunky and fun. We loved the Martini Bar and found the bartenders entertaining. We used the gym but some of the elliptical were not working very well. One thing we did not like was the walking and jogging path was on the deck that lots of chairs were. Laying in the sun was hard there with the large number of walkers. We missed the all around promenade deck on Princess and Other cruise lines. It was easy getting on and off the ship at ports. We took two Princess excursions. The 4x4 jeep tour in St Kitts was interesting but the beach time was too limited. We did not enjoy the St. Martiin Orient Beach excursion, The guide was good but the beach was chairs packed right next to each other with nonstop vendors selling goods and massages. Even if you closed your eyes they would wake you up. It was the worse beach excursion ever. We should have gone to the beach near the ship. The water was very wavy and not safe without life guards. The lunch on the beach was ok but should be skipped. Other than the two excursions, we had a great week and can't wait to go on another Celebrity Cruise. We loved the freedom of the alcohol package but we are not sure we could drink enough for the price.

Cabin C2

Loved the balcony and room was spacious. Drawers were limited but there are more spaces for clothes above the bed. We brought extra hangers and hung things up.
