If you haven't sailed with Carnival in the past you would never know anything was missing, tha being said, this was our 7th cruise and the service is going downhill fast.

Embarkation was great, New Orleans could teach Galveston a thing or two. We always do FTTF and we appreciate getting to our room early, our bags came with everyone else. We did overhear there were 300 people who purchased so it could be that our bags arrived with theirs but doubtful.

Room: We had a spa balcony and Our room had the shelves removed from one of the closets and had a bar which was very frustrating as there was no where to put clothes unless you brought everything on hangers. Also, the drawers stuck in the dresser and my husband had to pull them out each time. Also, we had no water pressure and cold water the first few days until it was fixed, the pressure was always a problem. Our steward was nice but never replaced our water after we finished it so we'd have to get it elsewhere. He was overworked.

Won't pay extra for the spa room again. The thallasopool never worked correctly and while the rooms were nice I didn't spend enough time there to justify the cost. The room goodies don't smell that great but it might just be me.
