This was my first time on a Princess cruise. I have been on 4 Carnival ships, 1 Disney ship and a Noregian ship. The lack of the little things that Priness offers is somewhat frustrating. Let me start when I first was brought on the ship. I was lead through the bowls of the ship and not through the atrium like every other cruise I have been on. This took away the excitement as I see the atrium for the first time and hear the island music. There was no music playing when I entered the ship.

The few was hard working and friendly however the cabin staff does not make towel animals when you enter your room for bedtime. If you have kids this is a disappointment. Heck I'm 40 years old and I was disappointed. The wait staff was friendly however there was only one show that the staff put one in the dinning room on the last night.

While at Cozimel my family and I swam with the Dolphins which was a tour that the cruise line recommends. The staff would not let any photos taken while swimming with the Dolphins. They did have a staff photographer who took several photos. The end result was me and my family being dropped off, before the tour was done, in the photo store. Nice photos, however I was told the cost was $1,100 for all the photos and $70 per person if you just wanted one or two photos. What a rip off! Needless to say I didn't buy and pictures. I felt like Princess should do something about the price of photos. The worst part was once we said we weren't going to buy any pictures, my family and I were ignored and not taken to the next portion of the tour.

The rooms were small. The bathroom is very tiny. I'm 6'5 and could barely fit in the shower. The deck was nice.
