This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise (Reflection and Silhouette) and we have a 4th on Equinox this summer. We've sailed Royal Caribbean 7 times and also sailed Princess and Norwegian. DW and I are in our 40's and love the luxury and service provided by Celebrity.

When sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale we always stay at the Hilton Marina Ft, Lauderdale. It is literally across from Port Everglades and a taxi is only $10. This hotel is a bit older the rooms and the view (either of the port or the inter coastal and all the yachts) is fantastic. This hotel is always quiet and even with a full house we were able to get into the restaurant for breakfast (a buffet for $22 per person).

Before I get into the review I want to address a few of the comments and reviews we've read prior to our March 21st cruise. The two cruises before ours were overrun by loud obnoxious college kids who made life difficult for the crew and other passengers vacations were disrupted by the havoc they caused. This resulted in many passengers requesting refunds that the cruise line would not give. I understand both sides and from what we experienced during our Muster Drill, the Captain and his crew had had enough and clamped down on any possible problems (we were lucky in that the college students on board during our cruise were respectful and not drunken idiots). Our cruise was problem free.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin 09

For an inside cabin it was more spacious than we expected. There was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was small but the shower was placed lengthwise rather than round which gave you more space, The bed as with all Celebrity cabins was very comfortable.
