I had been on 4 Carnival cruise before this one but to be fair, the last one was 15 years ago. So my expectations were set against a distant past.

That being said, in some ways this cruise surpassed my expectations, in some ways it fell way short.

The Good: The entertainment was top notch. Getting on and off the ship in ports was very organized and very quick. There was plenty to do, the room was much more roomy than I remembered and even staying on the bottom floor gave us a window so big and grown man could sit in it (which I did). The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure to learn our names quickly. The Green Eggs and Ham breakfast was an awesome experience for the kids.

Great room. Much roomier than I expected and the window was huge. Just 2-3 flights of stairs down from dining and some entertainment. Would advise trying to get in middle to the front for easier access to things.
