This is our 6th trip, the 3rd with Norwegian. Our flight with American Airlines departed from Toronto on time, we landed in Miami and we had a transfer from the airport to the hotel the JW Marriott Marquis. The package with NCL included the airfare, one night at the hotel before the cruise and a 7 night’s cruise. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel very nice, we went for a walk in the park and went shopping at the Bayside Marketplace. The next day we took the bus from the hotel to the port. The embarkation was very fast we were almost the last ones to embark, this ship will accommodate approximately 4100 people and on this trip the ship was full. We tried an ocean view stateroom right in front of the ship and we enjoyed it!! We found that the room was a nice size and we had a nice view, our steward Rheyen took care of us, he always greeted us with a smile, we booked this trip through our NCL personal cruise consultant.

The food at the Garden Café was OK, La Cucina was great and the servers were very attentive. We also went to Cagney’s one night and my filet mignon was mmm good. At the illusionarium the food and the entertainment was great we were sitting at a banquet we missed out a few magic tricks so if you sit at the floor area you will be closer, you might be invited to join them but it could be fun. Unfortunately we didn’t try the Bistro everything was booked that night. We tried the following complimentary restaurants, Flamingo, Savor and Taste, we felt welcomed and they are attentive to your needs we just had a very good meals. You have to try the Gelato that is very GOOD!

About the shows don’t mist Burn the floor you won’t regret it they are SUPER!! We saw Legally Blonde it was nice. We went to the Grammy to listen to Sugar Blue….he’s good!! Don’t miss the fireworks you don’t see that very often while you’re at sea on a ship also at the Spice H20 they have parties every night don’t miss that either.

This time we tried an oceanview and we liked it, the room is spacious you have enough place for everything, there is a place to sit right in front of the window and you have a very lovely view of the Sunrise or Sunset we were very please with this room.
