We loved this cruise. It was our first, and everything was perfect. I had read some reviews with people complaining about stuff; you'd have to be nuts to complain. First, the boat is wonderful, soup to nuts. The boat feels very solid, plenty of stuff to do, everything is high quality (see room review below) in room and public areas, the staff is wonderful...we really didn't want to go home. The food in the dining room was amazing. If you went to a restaurant in the Northeast you'd pay 30-40$ for an entree of similar quality. The only extra cost dining we tried was the sushi bar (not great but for the low cost worthwhile) and room service pizza (decent, again worth the $6 they charge). Nothing else needed. Buffet food was above average but still buffet food. The Irish pub food was decent too. The breakfast buffet had omelets and eggs benedict every day, and much much more. Also there was a buffet line open late for midnight snacks with burgers, dogs, za and others. We did ultimate beverage plan which is a great idea. We hung at Shakers Martini bar, surprisingly uncrowded (you could get a drink in a reasonable time at every bar). Entertainment very good, Blue Man rocks, Legends in Concert and Cirque Dreams both very good, only the comedy troupe sucked. The split bath is a neutral thing; I have to say the only thing I could do without are the toilets which flushed with a sound like an F-15C taking off on full afterburner, but it was thankfully brief. The shower was HUGE and wonderful, soap/shampoo dispensers, plenty of hot water. The staff on this boat was so great. In short, the best vacation I've ever had, nothing else came close, and we plan on taking another one soon, probably with NCL.

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

This cabin was perfect; the entrance is right off the spa lobby and next to the elevators but the room was quiet. The hydrotherapy spa was great; lots of options in the pool, about four different saunas, the heated tile lounges....only negative is that the lounges on the stern, outside, were always occupied. That was the only crowded area. It is worth getting this as a throw-in. Also had my first acupuncture there and that went fine; proved to me that it actually worked. The spa itself is huge. The locker rooms are very nice as well. The room itself was great; spacious, quiet and well-stocked. The balcony was wonderful. The bed was comfortable; I slept very well; the humidity level was just right. I'm neutral on the split bath. The lighting in the room was excellent, by the way. This room is worth requesting singularly.
