Awesome room! I'd recommend cruising doing The Haven! First class from the time you get on the ship until the time you leave. We had the 2 bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms. The 2 bathrooms came in handy more than anything. Also, the floor to ceiling glass in the main bathroom was awesome! Nothing better than showering with the ocean to look at! I was disappointed when I got home and didn't have my view any longer. Our butler brought goodies every day.

The resort was Jewel Dunn’s River Resort. Upon arrival we checked in and headed to the beach. We were informed that the Jewel Dunn’s River Resort was an old Sandals Resort. It was extremely nice and the beach was not crowded. I will say this was our best excursion of the whole trip. First class service. The food was good and the atmosphere was phenomenal. We will not hesitate to book this again if we return. We left the resort around 3:30 to head back to the port. No issues embarking and we had a later dinner reservation on this day due to getting back later on the Epic.

Once at the port we got a taxi to our next all inclusive resort called the Grand Caymanian Resort (aka Grand Cayman Holiday Inn). We bought this resort pass from Shore Excursioneer. On the website the photos looked great but once we arrived it was not represented as what was described. When we arrived the front desk person told us to not pay until we had a chance to look around. Well, that would have been a red flag from the get go! We walked around and knew we were not staying. It paled in comparison the Jamaica resort. Basically a hotel near water with no beach area. Extremely disappointing. There was another couple that had arrived just before us and they opted to not stay either. They used Shore Excursioneer as well. We paid $16 to get to the Holiday Inn but they had their own shuttle and they took us back to the port area. As I say, if life throws you lemons make lemonade! So, we were able to score a site seeing tour for $40 for both of us. This was very enjoyable. We went Hell, Cayman Island, Dolphin Cove, Turtle Bay and a rum factory. The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour took about 2 hours. After the tour we ate at Margaritaville. Just remember when in the Cayman Islands the exchange rate is for every $1 Cayman dollar it is $1.25 US dollars. So, our bill at Margaritaville was quite high but the food and entertainment was good. We shopped a bit after eating and headed back to tender to the ship. We back on board by 3:30 and with a later dinner reservation we took a much needed nap.

We had another resort for day booked through Shore Excursioneer. We went to the Ocean VIP Resort. I had been to this place back in 2011 and knew it would be good. However, over the past 4 years the place had grown and it was extremely crowded. We stayed on the beach most of the day and had lunch brought to us. Drinks were good but there many college kids there partying. Not as relaxing as we had in Jamaica. But we had a good time overall. I probably won’t go back because the first time we were there it was very laid back on not crowded. As you know we were on our honeymoon and wanted relaxation!
