We didn't realize how many college kids would be running around the ship, but for the most part there was no problem. A couple of them got a little obnoxiously drunk around the pool, but this was a rare scenario. (it was rumored three were thrown off the cruise at Belize City, but can only speculate why).
OK, down to the cruise, we are both in our 60s, had many cruises, but first timers on NCL. Bottom line was we pretty much enjoyed our experience. Food was fine, entertainment great, ship despite its age (2002) held up well, (one exception, see below). Staff was cordial and professional. Destination ports included lots of physical stuff for the younger (zip lines, scuba/snorkel, ATVs) and non-strenous for us old Farts (mayan ruins, river cruises, walking/shopping/dining/drinking venues). We would do it again. Some things we wished were different:
1 I Loved the free style dining, but wife wished for more formal timing and dress (hah. her loss)
