This was my 4th cruise: 2 on Royal Caribbean, and 1 on Norwegian. Celebrity food was very disappointing. I can still remember some of the meals and deserts that created oo's and mm"s on these cruises. Beyond the ice cream served, nothing stood out. Breakfast was just plain sad. For example, one of my favorites is Eggs Benedict. I was served 2 English muffins, a slice of canadian bacon, poached eggs, and one small piece of white cheese melted on top. No sauce, no asparagus, not even a sprig of parsley. I would rate it equivalent to. Poor chef at a cheap diner. We were constantly encouraged to dine in one of their expensive dining rooms. Our waiter said he'd get a bonus if we ate in a particular dining room. The main dining room was beautiful and service excellent, though the noise level was high. Sitting by the windows was pleasant.
The ship was clean and cabin steward great.
I've not had the experience before on a cruise where almost everyone was so difficult to understand. From our cabin steward to our waiters, we could hardly grasp what they were telling us, their English was so bad. You finally just give up trying to communicate.
Lovely to have patio. Seeing the Port of Miami lit up on return was unforgettable. Don't miss it. It was 5 am, but one of the highlights of the cruise. and have your camera waiting.
