Realize that the season is now complete so hopefully the comments will help those who cruise next yr, altho the itinerary has changed. I am writing this review with Celebrity in mind, as a comparison point.
The purchase and confirmation turned into a bit of a nightmare. Paid the total bill but it took approx 10 ph calls to obtain a simple confirmation and then the e-tickets. On hold for 30 min and abruptly disconnected at closing time. Others told us that the ticket dates on the Airtrans & cruise did not match up which caused them all kinds of head aches. And yet, Caroline came to our rescue and provided A1* service & told us to contact her directly if there were any problems. I did , after hr., thinking i would get a response the following day - she returned my msg within 20 min ! So, my advice is to detail check all dates etc carefully.
The boarding process could be more efficient - it is not bad but Cuba has innumerable line ups at the airport and then again boarding the ship. Then the ship has its check in procedure. And yet it is Nothing too bad but it could be easily stream lined with a bit of a process. Even departure times seemed to require careful attention to as there were multiple answers. My suggestion to the co. would be to organize a marketing dept or rep. whose responsibility would be to track down and solve the various problems in all categories. It would be an easy fix.
