We just arrived back after having sailed on another exceptional Celebrity cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Reflection. We stayed the night before at the Marriott Biscayne Bay, which is a very good hotel, and it included a buffet breakfast outdoors on the patio, overlooking the marina. The cab ride to the cruise terminal took less than 10 minutes by utilizing a new tunnel that was recently completed. The Miami cruise terminal is very well organized, we were checked in in about 20 minutes, then waited in the Concierge area, for the ship to accept passengers. The whole experience was pleasant and worked well.
The Reflection is the flagship of the Celebrity fleet and it deserves its reputation. Spotless and kept meticulously clean by the staff. You could see members of the staff cleaning constantly. The stateroom was on the 9th deck, and is designed with contemporary furnishings, blonde wood, and a flat screen TV with multiple channels for TV and music. The closet had multiple hangers for clothes, and all the luggage fit under the bed. The veranda has two reclining chairs, a table, and two footrests. More than enough room.
Every morning we went to the Ocean View Café for the buffet breakfast (excellent food). At 7:00 AM there is more than enough room for leisurely dining, but it does get very crowded around 8:45-9:00 AM. The main dining room serves excellent food. We dined in the Opus Dining Room (main dining room), on five nights. One night we had dinner at the Lawn Club Grill (my favorite), and a second night was at Tuscan Grill. Both provide a different experience from the MDR, although they are pricey ($45.00 each person). We find it worth it, and adds to the "fun experience" while on the ship.
