Let me tell you about the positive things before I go into full curmudgeon mode. I took this cruise to be part of a group of people who were also taking this cruise. I don't think I would have chosen it otherwise.

Where we stayed: We stayed at Embassy Suites in San Juan before and after the cruise. Somehow our travel agent had gotten the information that we could walk to the pier, but it was a good $21 taxi ride to Old San Juan and/or the dock.

Embarkation: Getting on the ship was easy. We arrived not too long after the start of the official boarding time , and pretty much walked our way onto the ship with only a few waits. Later we found our travel agent had recommended we board a few hours later, so perhaps we just got lucky.

Very convenient to elevators. Wonder if the decorations are still hanging from the ceiling?
