Cabin: Balcony

We were first time Carnival cruisers and had been told that the line skewed toward being a "party boat experience" but with a balcony and a quiet deck we figured that we would be fine. Well.. we were... sort of.

Without the balcony we would have hated the experience.

However, this isn't a slam against Carnival. If you like Vegas then you'll like Carnival, it seems. If you're like us, and you only fly into Vegas to take advantage of cheap airfares and then drive out into the countryside to sightsee/hike, then you probably won't like this ship and - maybe - the line. The theme drilled into us from the second we stepped onto the boat was that we were there to have "Fun, Fun, Fun." However, that wasn't our goal so we were a misfit.

Balcony

Cabin 8F

This cabin is across from the pantry but noise was limited. Easy access to pool area, waterslide, and serenity deck. Quite convenient.
