Lobster until you couldn’t eat any more in Rockland. This was an Eagle Society cruise with special vistas. The tour didn’t start well with a bout of seasickness as we chopped through the Atlantic. With tender care of the crew, we were fine the next day. Excellent history of Maine by Sam Ladley through out the voyage. Towns along the way, particularly Bar Harbor, were an experience in themselves. We returned to Bar Harbor the next week and there was the Independence tied up again. This is one trip we would like to do again, particularly the Coastal Main Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. Again the flexibility of the itinerary was something you wouldn't expect on a larger ship. As a member of the Eagle Society we pay one charge for the trip included excursions.

Cabin Review

We chose the convenience of the lower cabin since we do not stay in the cabin unless to sleep.
