EMBARKATION: After eight cruises now, I am starting to get the hang of things! Actually, this embarkation was pretty standard. It's the longest lines we have encountered to date, but there were many stations open and the line moved quickly. Once on board, our rooms were immediately ready which was amazing! Our luggage came shortly after that. We could get organized and changed well before muster.

FOOD: Admittedly, we are not fussy eaters. We found the food at the buffet and dining room to be great. The buffet had a wonderful selection and I love that I can get a huge salad and fruit before digging into the more calorie-laden item and choices. Desserts are surprisingly good--not too sweet, which we like. We only ate in the dining room one time (the last night) with another couple we were cruising with. It was enjoyable and lovely and delicious. I always eat more in the MDR than at the buffet, so once is fine with me! Also, I have to have the chocolate melting cake at least once so I can feel I have had a complete cruise!

CABIN: We had a porthole room which is just great for us. We like to save our money and use it to go scuba diving in different ports. We love having the natural light from the portholes and these forward cabins tend to be a bit larger.
