Our family of 4 just returned from a 3-night cruise on Disney Dream. Kids are 4 and 7 and we all had an amazing time. We booked the family room on level-9 with large porthole. Everyone enjoyed the porthole and we even saw a dolphin as we were leaving Port Canaveral. The entire Disney staff is wonderful. We utilized the kids club 1-2 hours each day. I am very impressed with how they keep up with the kids. Basically they were a magic band which tells them exactly which area of the kids club they are in. For us to get them out they needed our room key, pulled up a photo of us and had the kids swipe their band. They have these really cool hand washers for the kids and they must use when they enter or leave kids club.

Meeting the characters on the boat was nice and we only waited about 15 minutes each time. We got tickets the first day to see Ana and Elsa and Princesses on another day. These were complimentary but you needed to request them the first day. We docked in Nassau and Castaway Cay. Opted to stay on the ship in Nassau because we have been before. Judging by the people around the pool I think many opted to stay on the ship in Nassau.

Food was good. The breakfast and lunch buffet had plenty of options and basic buffet quality food. Dinner was excellent. It was fun switching restaurants each evening and our same wait staff took care of us each evening. Room service was good and nice that it was included. We ordered a snack (cheese and crackers) each day and hot dogs for the kids around 4. We opted for the later 8:15 dinner seating. We only made it to one show which the kids really enjoyed. Pool was great but often it was hard to find chairs close to the pool. however in fairness we never arrived at the pool earlier than 10am. My husband and I went to the spa and adults area one afternoon while the kids were in kids club. It was very peaceful and I highly recommend checking it out.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8B

Loved our room. It was at the end of the hall so not too much hallway noise. We did hear some noise from above from level-10 deck I assume. Maybe when they moved deck chairs around. Room had a large porthole was nice and both my girls sat in it each morning and afternoon. Room had a couch and murphy bed for the kids. Plenty of storage and drawer space.
