Room was okay. Beds comfortable but short. Anyone over 5' 6" has their feet hanging off the bed. Bath was roomy, but the step up was awkward. Towels were comfy and plentiful. Shower does contain body wash and shampoo, and the sink has hand soap, but that's it. If you want a robe, you'll have to request it in advance, but there is no guarantee that you'll get it. Smokers in cabins on either side, so our balcony time was limited to when they were not using theirs--the cruise line says smoking on balconies is not permitted, but people do it anyway.

We were supposed to go on the America's Cup regatta, but engine trouble caused us to be late. Glad that we booked this excursion for the afternoon or we'd have had nothing. The America's cup regatta trip is only sailing in the harbor, no open water sailing, so it might be okay if you've never sailed before, but we have so it would have been a waste of $'s for us. Our experience on the horseback riding was amazing-- I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The farm is rustic, but the animals are well-cared for. The staff is top-notch and safety conscious. Lockers and bathrooms are available. We purchased the photo thumb drive to get all the photos taken by their photographer, though it is good to take a camera for the trail portion of the ride. We had lots of time in the water, a delicious rum punch afterwards complimentary of the farm. If you can only do one excursion in Philipsburg, make sure it's this one. It's the experience of a lifetime.

An amazing experience. They do have lockers to rent and clean bathrooms on site. The staff is super-safety conscious and making everybody feel comfortable. They are also amazingly encouraging and celebrate each ride! We rented the helmet-cam (they teach you how to use it) and the staff are all great about making sure it's turned on for each zip. You get the chip after you turn in your safety harness/helmet. It's worth the price to have a record of the scenery and the zip line runs. There's a small gift shop at the end to purchase t-shirts of very good quality. A must-do for anybody!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The guide from the ship to the waterfront raced so fast that we lost her twice. The boat is small, dirty and very slippery. The harnesses and life jackets are old and fraying. There's no choice as to how high you want to go, no way to signal if you're not comfortable at the height they choose, then they dunk you in the water whether you want it or not. They don't pay much attention to the surroundings so we almost crashed into the rock formation at the harbor entrance and they almost dropped a woman on top of the rocks for her dunk--we were only about 20 feet away from the rocks when they dropped her in the water, and you never know what's below the waterline! They take the life jackets from you as soon as you come down, so if you hit choppy water like we did, you have to hold on to the railing to keep from falling out of the boat, and we almost did several times. The promised rum punch never appeared, and the one operator kept talking religion the whole time. Nassau itself is a dump. The area just outside the cruise pier security gates is dirty, the various stand operators are aggressive and nasty. Expected better from Norwegian with that being a port of registry. In the city, the shopping is poor, mostly junk and aggressive people trying to sell hair braiding. The streets are narrow and very dirty, natives think nothing of bumping into you while walking, and they're very aggressive and not friendly. Avoid this excursion and stay on the ship. You'll be much happier and safer.

Maarten late so we missed our morning excursion and then a generator problem later in the cruise left us with no A/C, but we just left the sliding door open when we were in the room so we still got air.The front of the thermal suite looks out over the bow of the ship, so it's a nice view while you're relaxing if you're lucky enough to get one of those ceramic tile heated loungers or one of the padded lounge chairs.
