Along with other people who have posted reviews on this cruise we were really unhappy with this cruise, particularly with the reasons given for all the alterations. I believe these all stemmed from the fact that the ship could not make it's full into speed into Fort Lauderdale hence the delay in it's arrival which caused a succession of problems which kept getting worse.

I put these questions to Holland America together with my view the compensation was inadequate as most of the problems were as a result of the Generator failure which is the responsibility of HA. The only response I get from Holland America is a standard letter off their computer to say that the compensation cannot be altered, as to my questions they either did not read my email or cannot answer as this would reveal the true reason for our delays and port cancellations.
