Sailing off into the sunset with a slight infusion of champagne in your veins. What could be better? For the most part, we have fond memories of our adventures on board the Celebrity Equinox. But what is an adventure without a little misadventure? Things were not perfect. To be content in life, however, I believe we have to accept the full spectrum of life: the good, the bad and the ugly.

The Good: The embarkation process was seamless. It was smooth and efficient. Passengers were able to quickly access their rooms. The only blemish of the first day was the muster drill (see below). It did not take long until travellers could find their ideal location to set off to sea. For us it was the greens of the Lawn Club. In fact, we stayed there quite a bit for the first 48 hours. It was unique and lovely. For persons who shy away from crowded spaces, it was idyllic.

The ship is beautiful. It is very modern and well designed. Our room (ocean view) was spacious for a cruise. It was also fairly modern in comparison to previous ships.
