This was my wife's first Princess Cruise. I have been on several, but none in the last 15+ years. Our boarding was delayed as the ship could not come into port due to fog. We were able to board around 5pm, however we did not get to leave Houston until around noon on Monday. No big deal. We were on the ship and things went on as usual. The boarding process was outstanding and the crew was awesome for our stay in Houston. Princess was able to re-arrange our ports so that we did not miss any. While Cozumel was to be our first stop it then became our last stop. We were at sea on Tuesday, Costa Maya Wednesday, Belize City Thursday and Cozumel on Friday. The Emerald Princess was in Great Shape!!! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We had set dining and the food and service was the best. Allen, our head waiter, knew that I would want multiple shrimp cocktails each evening and made sure that I had them. He also brought me 2 lobsters on lobster night. On the final night I let him pick my meal and he picked everything that I would have picked. The entertainment was very good as well, always something going on. The "house band" Wavelength was extremely talented and could really do all types of music. The shows were all very well done. In the end in my wife's words "this was the best trip EVER!!!" We will be going again!!!!
