My partner and I are what most would considered "well traveled". I am told I have over 26,000 readers on Trip Advisor and I contribute to these sites because I find them useful in my own trip planning and feel obliged to contribute for the benefit of others as well.
We have been on Celebrity several times in the past, most recently prior to this cruise on a 12 day Baltic cruise last summer. We happened to be on the Constellation then also. We had a Concierge Suite on the 9th deck and were woken every night between 430-600am by extremely loud banging. It affected the cabins next to us also so we were not the only ones affected. We complained (as the others did) and they denied knowledge of what was going on. After further complaints they finally stationed a person in the hall in the wee hours who heard the noises. This was like someone pounding a steel pipe with a sledge hammer. They initially claimed to have no idea where it originated but it was apparently from the steam or water pipes in the Terrace Cafe which was above our cabins. In any event, to make a long story short, as a result of a 12 day vacation with no sleep, Celebrity offered us a voucher to give them "another chance".
We foolishly, as it turned out, did so. We booked on the Constellation for a 5 day Cribbean cruise to Cozumel at the end of February. This time, I upgraded to an Aqua Class suite on Deck 11 so that there could not possibly be anyone or anything above me. While the voucher we had been given would have covered the entire cost of a regular balcony suite, we chose to pay several hundred dollars extra to go for the higher level cabin with extra amenities and better location in the hopes of having a stress-free and restful vacation.
This cabin is smaller than the published size for Concierge and Aqua Class Cabins. Unless you are tiny people or do not mind tripping over yourselves do not select this cabin.
