I planned a getaway for 7 of my girl friends on the NEW Paradise Grand Celebration Cruise from port of palm beach on March 13-15. It was fantastic! There were a few things that werent great and a lot of things that were!

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Service! If you've ever cruised before, you know service is usually pretty good. I don't know if it was because we purchased the drink package for $65 which included gratuity already or what, but bar service was terrible! It took forever to get the attention of the bar tenders. Also the first day on the ship, we layed out by the pool, the bar tenders came to ask us if we wanted drinks which was nice. However, when I didnt like the bahama mama I chose he gave me an attitude that I couldn't exchange it. Seriously! Something was wrong there. Also, at the sit down dinner at Stellar prime there was only ONE cocktail waiter and ONE wine waitress for the entire restaurant. It took her 45 minutes to come to our table and they were very slow. She had an amazing personality but she stayed at one table for 20 minutes talking.. no joke!

FOOD: Wasn't that wonderful. It was ok.. nothing special. The prime rib and beef wellington I ordered wouldnt have made it to a plate on Royal carribean or carnival! But it was edible! Read more
