Most of the staff is extremely rude, especially if you are under a special diet or God forbid incase something happens. On our trip the staff was young and not knowledgeable and resisted for you to speak to management. We found that the encharged did not do their home work as they did not pay attention to notes on our profiles i.e.: allergies etc.. To dream to get any results you have to go to management who are hard to reach and cuts into our time of enjoyment. The beverage rules and packages are a nuisance and we felt we were robbed. Eventhough we were full board, to keep ourselves hydrated we were forced to buy beverages. We did not feel it safe to drink water from the taps as wed heard couple of passengers telling us colored water was coming from their faucets. They are sticklers to rules which are often hard to figure out as they are not made clear while on board. The rules differ from what we were told by the Hurtigruten agents before booking the cruise. The staff expects you to know their version of rules and make you feel stupid (intimidates you) incase you were confused or just didn't know one thing or another. Being vegetarian, other than a few days, we felt we were starved. Before booking the cruise we were presented with a vegetarian menu and were told we would not have any problems as they would purchase ingredients to accommodate our needs. We were full board and feel we did not get our money's worth. HOPELESS!! Suggest finding other ways to see Norway and/or cut time on cruise ship short. We were a party of two and felt we were robbed.

Cabin Review

We were supposed to be on an upgrade for suites. But, when it became available we were not informed and someone else got it vs.. us who happened to be on the list after us. We accidently found out that she got the room, which naturally annoyed us. Apparently the younger staff miss handled our request.
