we drove into houston the evening prior to the cruise and stayed at LaQuinta La Porta taking advantage of their cruise and park package (85 total cost!) they shuttled us to the cruise port for 8.00 round trip. this was a much better value than the 80 on site parking ..

we arrived at the terminal around 11. the check in process was smooth and fast. we were on board by 1130, eating lunch and enjoying a drink at O'Sheehans. service was great; food was tasty and drinks were good. we had the ultimate beverage package and it was great too! our cabin was ready around 12 so we dropped off our bags and explored the ship. in my experience, this was the cleanest, well kept ship. the staff was friendly, always smiling and glad to help. we had a great time from start to finish! we attended the cruise critic meet and greet, did 2 pub crawls and the slot pull. such a fun group. i was really glad we decided to participate. the entertainment on board was fantastic!

we did shore excursions (not through NCL) at each port. we snorkled 3 reefs through Viator, Trip Advisor for around 50 each in cozumel. we visited lamania in belize through island marketing and had a private island tour through victor bodden in roatan.. Roatan, was by far, our favorite! we dined in the main dining rooms most every night and the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Friday evening was the only time we had to wait for a table; we usually had lunch in the main dining room or O'Sheehans. the debarkation process was quick and efficient. Overall, a wonderful vacation!
