9 Islands in 14 days was awesome!!! Leaving from Barbados was totally awesome as well. Ship is a nice new ship, up to date, clean. Food was good dinners were much like a princess only with a British flair. Bottom line on the food was that there was plenty of it. Breakfast and Lunch were totally redundant, it got old actually. Dinner managed to keep a nice variety. I was one of the only Americans on the ship. Its all good people are people, and since there was no language barrier we got along fine. If I may give some advice to my fellow Americans embarking, if you are in one of the comedy venues, and they ask if there are any Americans keep your mouth shut! We made the mistake of raising our hands and got totally roasted. We bore the brunt of all regions of America.

Embarkation was amazing we were the only ones in que. Walked right on the ship. Entertainment was up to par with most american ships. Had excellent theatre productions. Had good music talent. Had some great comedians even though we were the brunt of the jokes. P&O has some tremendous advantages, 1 The let you bring booze on. 2 They dont charge the 15% gratuity when you buy something on board. 3 daily gratuity charge is lower 4 Lb per day and they dont mind if you waive it. Having said that the service is not as good as you get on the American ships as they are not working for that tip. Our cabin steward was turned out to be pretty good after we slipped him some fivers. The wait staff are great at fetching you drinks, even without the 15% . Dinner was 5 courses, and the waiter was just awesome, I suggest tipping a bit, and you can easily expect multiple entrees. Getting off the ship was just as easy as getting on. They hauled our luggage off for us, and we walked right off.

Cabin Review

Outside Stateroom (Part Obstructed View)

Cabin MA

Had a lifeboat in the way so we had about half of the view you would normally get. The room was great, newer pretty much identical to Princess. Some complain about the plain decor, it is nice, classy, not over the top.
