Check in was fairly easy, although not as good as other cruise lines, like P & O, Celebrity etc. but there again it is USA.

The pros for this cruise were, we did not have to wait for our cabin to become ready. There was plenty of food, although, mainly aimed at the American market, with larger than large portions. Unlike most other cruises, you have to find a table first before getting your meal, but no problem with Carnival, as there was more than ample seating at all times. There was ice cream and frozen yogurt on tap 24/7, also always lemon squash 24/7.

At the sit down dinner at nights I have never seen so many people have about 3/4 courses on the starters, main and desserts, and the waiting staff did not turn a hair. Unfortunately, the presentation of the meals did not look very appetising, but the bread baskets were to die for.
