We selected this ship for a Christmas through New Year's cruise. We were aware at the time of booking that this ship was small and old, but we booked it because of the number of ports it visited. Please understand that we have been sailing on Princess and Celebrity for the past three years and now have returned to Royal Caribbean for this cruise. The main problem with this ship is the lack of overall management, obviously from the captain and his staff. The service workers on the ship were pleasant and generally helpful, but there were not enough staff to serve the passengers. Pros: Small ship so can dock at many ports and is easy to get around on. Cabin steward was outstanding in all respects. Dining room attendants were excellent. Food was very good. Cons: No welcome from any staff as we entered the ship! No Officers,Cruise Director's staff either, and of course no drink offered. This ship is old and shows it. Needs another complete face lift. Old ship with very small staterooms. We had an deluxe balcony stateroom, centrally located, but it was the smallest stateroom we ever had. Very little storage so we hung up most clothes and kept everything else in our suitcases, and by the way, the suitcases would not fit under the beds! Very limited staff on this ship!! Even the staff admitted to this problem. If you needed anything in either the eating or pool areas, you had to hopefully flag someone down, or just go get it yourself. Because of the staffing issue the venues were routeenly out of stock. Day 1 - no coffee at the coffee bar! Day 2 - out of towels in the spa Day 3 - out of towels in the solarium Day 5- out of bottled water at two bars. Helpful Hints: When going on a shore excursion take beach towels from the pool area with you in your beach bag. This will save you time, as you can pick them up on the way off the ship, but you have to use your ship card to "secure"them ($25 loss fee) and check them back in upon your return to the ship. Take your own wine on board. Because of the lack of staff on this ship, the wait time is rediculous! This ship has to be loosing money!! Check out the showers in the Spa as an alternative to using the ones in the small staterooms. Check out the Relaxation Deck in the rear of the ship beyond the Spa. Its less crowded. Take your own POWER STRIP . This is an old ship. We took one and it was so helpful with all of our tech stuff in our stateroom! Hope I have been helpful. Enjoy

Cabin Review

Cabin 6074
Very small for this Category. The entire faucet on the bathroom sink came off, otherwise, no problems.
