Traveled with children

We booked this suite because we were sailing with our two daughters and their families (total of four adults and six children) and wanted to provide a private space where we could all hang out together. Unfortunately, one family didn't make the trip. My wife and I did enjoy the extra space provide by this quiet suite. It had a nice balcony, a living room, two vanity area, three large closets and a large bathroom which included a bidet and a jacuzzi with shower. We stored our suitcases under the bed. Our only complaint was the shower. To take a shower we had to step (or leap) over the side of the jacuzzi. Twenty years ago that would have been no problem, however for two people in their late 60s, it was an issue. The other issue is price. Is it worth the extra money, probably not. But, at our age, we did enjoy the extra space and the balcony views. Carnival's staff is second to none.

Our grand kids loved the cruise. Carnival provides several activities aiming to occupy and entertain the youths. For most of the cruise we only saw the kids when it was time to eat. The food at the buffet is interesting. Please explorer the buffet area because they have several different buffets all located in the Marketplace area. Also, their dinning room food is very good and their Italian specialty restaurant is worth the extra money. All in all it was a good trip!!!
