This was my eighth cruise and second one on the Breakaway. The first time on the Breakaway, we went to Bermuda and we (my friend and I) each had studio cabins and we loved our experience. . This time, we shared an inside cabin and we were not as thrilled.

I was surprised to see that there was actually more storage in the studio cabin than there was in the inside one. I was very disappointed with the room set up. My friend had to keep his clothes in his suitcase as there was simply not enough room for the two of us.

This time around, we had a lot more complaints about the ship. First, of all, we found that the food in the main dining rooms was not on par with the quality that we have experienced previously. For example, on every other ship, salmon was offered on the everyday menu. This time, they replaced it with a very dried out flounder (or something similar) milanese. It was awful. I felt as if I was eating at Arthur Treacher's. The vegetables were usually cold and very bland (with a few exceptions). The buffet was just okay, nothing special at all. One morning, we ate at O'Shenans and it was not good at all. The french toast was hard and cold. Come on. How difficult is it to make french toast? So, all and all we, were disappointed with the food quality.
