We booked this cruise last minute and I must admit I did not enjoy this ship as other Princess ships I have been on. I tried often to access the Skywalkers Nightclub only to find it booked for private parties. I wanted to see the view during the day not at night. I understand booking private events like weddings, which was one of the reasons, but on the only formal night on our cruise we were not allowed admittance because it was only open to elite and suite holders. Talk about feeling inferior. Even the Sanctuary is assessable for a fee. I did not find a lot of variety in the meals in the dining room. I also found there was only one dining room for anytime dining and the other dining room for anytime dining started after a certain time. I also found there was no dress code inforced for the dining room. People came with shorts which I thought was only allowed on the Lido Deck. I also wanted to have breakfast in the dining room everyday but I was told I could only go there on sea days.

We had an inside cabin and I found the T.V selection very poor. When you don't have a balcony sometimes TV is your entertainment when you need some time out of the sun.

I loved the staff. Everyone was attentive and very polite. Our cabin stewart was wonderful. The entertainment was awesome. I really appreciated the extra length the ship's crew went in trying to keep everyone well as there was a bit of a virus breakout on our cruise.

Cabin Review

The inside cabin was very clean with lots of cupboard space but it could have used a clock because it is so dark one would never know if it was daytime or not. The bed was uncomfortable but our cabin stewart placed a foam topper on the bed which made all the difference. TV programs could be more varied. I expected with their 50th anniversary The Love Boat would have been on everyday.
