We enjoyed Key West very much! We have been there once before on our very first cruise so we were excited to come back and check it out some more. We decided not to book an excursion and just explore on our own. So we took a taxi to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park ($5 for both of us to get in) and hung out on the beach and did a little snorkeling. It was a very nice place to relax for the day. It was $10 to rent a beach chair. After that we took a taxi to Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shoppe - they have amazing Key Lime Pie. My husband got the one dipped in chocolate and said it was amazing! We then just walked around and shopped for awhile before heading back to the boat. Great Port to go to!

Key West

This private island was Incredible!!! We had to be tendered to this island since the ship can't dock right to it. But the tender was maybe a 10 minute ride at the most. Once on the island we walked around to look a bit and found our chairs to put our stuff on and rented a life jacket to snorkel with. We brought our own snorkeling gear, so that it only cost us $10 for the jackets. We swam out to snorkel and it was quite amazing. Then on another part of the beach, we walked several ways out and the water was only up to my waist! It was just sparkling clear waters, white sand, and palm trees, just an absolutely perfect beach day!Then for lunch, it was a buffet like they have for the Windjammer buffet on the ship. It was included in our stop, so we didn't have to pay for it. There was a straw market on the island for souvenirs. We loved it so much and want to come back soon!

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Nassau is a favorite port of mine! We decided to snorkel while we were there and took the Seahorse Sail and Snorkel excursion. We docked in Nassau about 1:00pm and got off the boat and our excursion started at 2pm. We got on a very nice sail boat and it was about a 45 minute ride out to where they took us to snorkel. It was SO clear and we could see everything as soon as we jumped in the water without going underneath. We got to snorkel freely for one hour and then got back on the boat and they gave away free rum punch as we sailed back to the ship. Very good experience and would definitely do it again. Once back at port, we walked to some shops before they closed. As they closed at 6:00, which was a little disappointing considering our ship was there until 11:45pm! However, we had a great time in Nassau!

Our stateroom was very nice for being an interior stateroom. We previously had a balcony in October, so it was quite a bit smaller. However, there are is still quite a bit of storage space to unpack everything and our stateroom attendant kept it very clean and tidy at all times. Great stateroom for our cruise!

The port of New Orleans was great!We met some really great people and felt so relaxed while on this cruise!
