This was my second cruise with Carnival, first on the Sensation and my husbands first cruise. After reading multiple reviews on this ship/cruise & knowing that this is an older ship I hoped for the best & that my husband would have a good experience & want to cruise again!

Embarkation was easy and painless. We were boarding the ship right on time at 12:30. Our room was ready by 1:30 and our luggage was delivered to our stateroom shortly after.

This ship is 23 years old so it does show its age especially through the decor (70s style and lots of purple & gold) but I'm not one to let that ruin my vacation. The staff did an excellent job at keeping it clean. I constantly seen staff cleaning and making sure everything was in great shape. Most of the staff are very friendly and always making sure you are taken care of. On the pool deck they have the waiters that walk around and serve you drinks. This is great because you don't have to keep going back to the bar or worry about losing your seat & it also makes it a true vacation when all you have to do is relax! Read more
