I read review after review before booking our trip. I was totally weary going with Carnival after hearing some of the news stories in the last few years. Our friends had been on this ship the year before and only had good things to say about it. Once we started looking at prices for cruises and realized that this was hands down the best bang for your buck, we decided to trust our friends judgement and booked a cruise on the Carnival Breeze. We are a family of 4 with two kids ages 8 and 9. WE LOVED THIS TRIP!!! I was TOTALLY impressed with all aspects of this ship. Getting on the ship of course there was a line but it was very organized and moved very steadily. I can not say enough about the staff on the ship. Shout out to Matt best cruiser director there is!! He made everyone laugh out on the lido deck around the pool, he had the kids quoting his little sayings by the end of the week, he answered any question.....I could go on and on. The person who took care of our cabin knew our names by the second day. The wait staff was extraordinary. They were quick, polite, social with the adults and got the kids up and dancing to join the wait staff dance. Any question we had whether we were just on the lido deck or going up to the service desk every single breeze employee took the time to answer our question and make sure our needs were met. These people work very, very hard!

The food was great. Guy's burgers was about the best burger I've ever eaten. Yes there was a little line for the breakfast buffet but it moved and everyone found a seat. Is it a little crowded yes but people this is vacation, just relax you have nothing but time on your hands! The kids loved the ropes course, putt-putt, huge chess board pools, pizza and dessert every night at dinner. The adults loved laying in the sun, playing bingo, playing dodge ball. The whole family enjoyed the family comedy show, the Hasbro game show and name that tune on deck 5 in the lounge.

I can't say enough for a family of 4 on a limited vacation budget this is one of the best vacations you will ever take. We were all very sad when it was time to come home.
