Sail Date: Feb 2015

We were very disappointed with the 15 day cruise to Hawaii from February 2-17, 2015 on the Grand Princess, this is the 2nd time I have cruised with Princess and the last time. The entertainment was terrible, they were showing movies that were at least 10 years old or more and the live entertainment was not great either. The boats had leaks everywhere, buckets on the floors the ship is very old looking and not well maintained, the food was tasteless and not very good at all and the same old food was serve all the time. Princess is all about getting more and more money from you on their cruises which gets very aggravating, if they know you are not going to spend thousands on extra things it is very hard to get anyone to wait on you, they should offer free bottle water and soft drinks as the cruise was expensive enough, I can understand charging extra for alcoholic drinks. There were a lot of sick people coughing and sneezing by the last week on the cruise including my partner and nothing was said about a lot of people being sick. One of the nicest ports of call was cancelled due to rough seas, but a lot of the crew members state that this happens a lot for this Hawaiian Island, but of course they want to sell you on the idea that you are going there. I spoke to a lot of people that were very disappointed with the cruise too long on the boat and not enough time to see much of any Hawaii. I will chose another cruise line for our next cruise as Princess is going down hill. Also if you want to cruise to Hawaii, I would advise you to fly to Hawaii and just cruise around the islands unless you like being stuck on a sick boat for 10 or so days and they is awful the way they rush you off the boat on the last day, like cattle, it took more time to get off the boat then to get on.
