We've been planning this trip for almost a year to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Drove down for north Georgia on Friday and stayed at the Residence Inn Port Canaveral which was great. We took the shuttle over to the port just after 10:00am and were met by porters to take our luggage once we pulled up. Walked right through security with no problems and then up to priority check-in since we had the FTTF. After checking in, which took about 5 minutes then waited for boarding. Boarding started with Diamond, Platinum, suites and then FTTF. Since we were booked in a ocean suite, we were able to walk right onboard. From the time we got dropped off to getting on the ship, about 30 minutes tops. Once onboard, we took the elevator right up to our room to drop our carry on luggage.
Went up to Lido for Guy's Burger which was awesome.
Overall, embarkation was great. Not knowing what to expect, the process was pretty much painless.
Cabin was great and our room steward was Putu. We were on the port side of the ship which was great when docking at Freeport
