Summary First off Id like to say of the 3 cruises ive been on this one has been the best overall. Ive been on carnival and costa and they do not compare to royal caribbean. Some of the reviews Ive read have nagged on the Grandeur for being old and run down but honestly this ship is in better condition than the newer ships I have been on before. Workers constantly clean the entire ship each minute of the day and whomever said that it looked bad must just be a rich old fart who thinks everything has to be filled with diamonds. If your looking for an amazing overall cruise experience this ship is for you

Embarkation The process goes very fast and smoothly. It is best if you go online before your cruise and fill out all your information online because it makes things go super super fast. All you do is print out the setsail pass and your basically good to go. As soon as we got on the ship lunch was already prepared so we started to eat a ton which was a trend throughout the week. It was about 12pm when we boarded the ship. We had an inside cabin on the 7th deck toward the back of the ship which isn't bad but an ocean view would have been better. Within a couple hours they had the muster drill which we missed but had to hide in the closet to do so since they come into your room to check if you left.
