My wife had wanted to take a cruise for some time but I always felt it would be like a sampler platter and wouldn't want to be in these lovely places for only a day. I gave in and booked our first cruise and found out I was very wrong!!! From the moment we arrived and handed over the luggage till the time we got in our car to leave, eight days later, it was very well organized and with no confusion. We had a mini-suite with a balcony and were blown away with the cabin. It wasn't large but having breakfast on the balcony in the morning was unbelievable. Our cabin steward (Mary) made sure we had everything we needed plus more, the nightly towel animals were great.

We had all our meals in the complementry dinners and had a very pleasent experience. Free style cruising is the way to go. The one time we had to wait for a table at the Venetian we were given a free wine at the closest bar while we waited 10 minutes. The Venetian's decor was amazing and the menu selections and food were awesome. At home it would be a $100 a plate experience.

The onboard entertainment of music, comedy shows, and varity shows kept us busy and in total smiles the whole week. Every day we had a new listing of all ship board activites.
