I am a 63-year-old divorcée who just had a few difficult years. I decided to take some "me" time and take this cruise, and I am so glad I did! The experience was a positive one from beginning to end (with the exception of my flight home being cancelled due to snow, that is!)

Embarkation took just an hour from arrival at the pier to actually getting on the ship - most of that was sitting and waiting for last week's passengers to disembark. I found almost no lines at the Park Café for lunch at noon. I found it very easy to navigate the ship. My cabin was ready at 1 as advertised, and it was clean and quite comfortable. It was just me, so I do imagine it might have felt a bit cramped with an additional person. Wickham was my cabin attendant and he did a great job keeping the cabin in order for me.

The bathroom was tiny but even though I am a large woman, I was comfortable showering.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D4

Clean, plenty of room for a solo traveler. Ample closet space. I heard no sound from the cabins on either side of me aside from the door closing from time to time. Very pleased with the balcony. The bed was not as comfy as I would have liked, but then I sleep on a Serta iComfort memory foam mattress at home. Lighting and switch access was great. Bathroom was small but sufficient and had plenty of space for all my stuff.
