My wife and I chose this ship because we wanted a short weekend cruise. This was our sixth cruise- fourth with RCL. Embarkation was very easy. We chose to park at the port because we have found the hotel shuttles to be very frustrating and not user friendly. We were at the terminal at 10:30 and second in line to get our cruise cards. After checking in we had an hour wait because the ship had a delay involving a test for the fire system. We were on the ship at 11:30am and enjoyed lunch and relaxing until our cabins were ready around 3PM. We were in suite 8616, The room was very nice, with two chairs couch and coffee table. We really enjoyed the balcony which had two chairs and a table. The bed was very comftable and we had great stateroom service. The bathroom was larger than any I have seen on our previous cruises. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom. It was not real strong but noticable. It seemed to come from the drain in the floor. I had brought a can of air freshner spray with us and used it every time we opened the bathroom door. There are only two outlets in the room so I used a power strip that I had brought with us.

We found the ship to be very clean and decorated beautifully. There were many places to sit and relax and listen to good music. The food was very good. We had breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer and dinner in the Dining Room. Service was great. The biggest challenge was finding an open table for breakfast. it gets really crowed. We enjoyed the shows although they were not as good as some of the other cruises we had been on. I read some very bad reviews and i was concerned before we cruised but I was very pleased overall with the Enchantment and would definitely reccommend this ship and cruise for someone that is looking for a quick relaxing weekend getaway. I have found that crusing is what you make it and you can have a very good time on this cruise.
