1st time to book with Carnival, was really looking forward to this cruise and every aspect of it was terrible from the dirty rooms, the cold food, line ups, terrible service and uniformed staff.

The ship was called the "PRIDE", let me assure you there was no pride in this ship at all, from the dirty stained carpets, to the filthy windows you could not even see out of on the Lido Deck and the balcony furniture that looked like they just fished it out of the sea.

We have always booked with Holland America, which Carnival owns as well, and have NEVER been treated so poorly as we were on this cruise. The staff was rude and ignorant, no clue of what was even going on during the cruise, would not get anyone else to help when they weren't sure, if they do not want to work and do their job, then don't be part of customer service....the food was not good at all, no selection, and it was always cold and if you asked for it to be heated up, they looked as though you were an imposition. Not only was the food cold, most of the time the silverware was dirty as well as the coffee cups had lipstick stains still on them?? Leads me to ask how well the sanitation was.. Read more
