This cruise was 15 days of total relaxation!!

It was our first cruise that was longer than 7 days. We weren't sure what to expect and now wonder if we will ever go back to a 7 day cruise! The Norwegian Star staff Captain, Officers, Crew and Cabin Steward made us feel like family! The entertainment was first class every night! The food in the main dining rooms as well as the buffet was excellent; we never felt the need to dine at any of the specialty restaurants.

As a nurse, I was so impressed by the Food and Beverage Director, Vikram, and what procedures he had in place to keep us healthy. At the buffet on Deck 12, in addition to the friendly reminder of hand washing, the dirty dishes were removed immediately, the tables were constantly being sanitized, the beverage dispensers were always being wiped down and ALL service was with a smile! Behind the scenes in the dining rooms, menus were wiped down and silverware rotated on a hourly basis.
